Does Swimming Pool Depth perception change with the colour of tile used?
Lost Angel asked:
For example, assume you use light blue tiles as the floor and walls of your swimming pool. Does the swimming pool appear more shallow than if you had used darker-blue tiles instead? If yes, what is the explanation for this phenomenon.

I don’t know about the coloured tiles. Most of the big swimming pools I’ve seen have white tiles, with blue tiles marking lanes. There is a colour perception in that colours appear nearer to surface, due to light refraction.
