How come everything looks weird when you get out of a swimming pool?
Stephanie K asked:
I’ve been swimming in the pool for 3 or 4 hours over the last week (it’s summer in australia, i’m not just weird). Today when I got out of the pool, all of the lights have angel light rings around them. When driving, head lights blurred and seemed to be larger then the car. And then the traffic lights almost made my eyes water?
Why does this happen? Is there any way to fix it? Does it have to do with the chlorine at all?

The chlorine makes your eyes do that. Wearing goggles while you are swimming will help to eliminate it.

it’s the chlorine.
I bet you aren’t wearing goggles.

When there is too much chlorine in the pool that happns. Two ways to prevent it are wearing goggles and sometimes washing your face with a hose or water from a sink because that water does not have chlorine in it.

Its the water rushing your eyes when diving and swimming under water and also the chlorine. Wear goggles next time and rinse your eyes with water and rest them.. it’ll go away, it happens to me too
