How many times swimming pool water can be purified?
wannatosaveworld asked:
once water supplied to swimming pool in which many people come for swimming regularly then my question is that is it possible to purify again and again swimming pool water for months or year i.e. no need to change that water?

In order to keep the water clean AND avoid bacterial and algae growth you MUST add a sanitizer to the water. Unless you drain the pool every day, you should use a sanitizer.
The most common sanitizer is chlorine and you can usually purchase the chlorine at most grocery stores, hardware stores, home supply and pool supply stores.
If your pool has a circulation system (a pump and a filter), as long as you keep the chlorine at a proper level AND keep the acid/base balance (the pH) of the pool balanced, you should have no problems with the water in your pool. There are other mineral considerations for your pool called the water’s “total alkalinity” as well as calcium. If you keep all chemicals balanced, you can re-circulate the water for years.
If you are going to keep the pool running for a period of time, based on your not knowing how to take care of the pool, I’d highly suggest that you determine the volume of your pool and then take a sample of the water to a pool supply store. They will tell you exactly how much of every chemical you need to keep the water clean and disease free. OR, hire a pool maintenance company.

Countless. As long as all of the balances are right, you can go on forever.

you should not have to change the water as long as it is balanced meaning all 5 water properties plus metals are in there ranges. PH,CL,ALK,CAL,CYA
If your CYA level gets too high or calcium level this will cause you to have to drain the water in order to get these levels down the other chemical levels you can adjust using chemicals.
