Swimming pool is leaking around pressure Gage, How do I fix?

i have a above ground swimming pool with a sand filter. I was getting it ready for the season. When I turned on the pump water began coming out from the gage attached to the filter. It looks like water was going into the gauge and coming out through little holes in the back. when I turned off the pump the gage continue to leak water around it. Any suggestions on what causes this and how to fix it?
