There is a shark in my swimming pool, what do i do?
Richard J asked:
while i was away yesterday my friends went fishing and they caught a 2 metre bronze whaler, they had a great idea to try and keep it alive so they got it to my swimming pool, which is close to the jetty. its still alive, but not moving very quickly. They wanted to charge people to see it eat live chickens, but i just want it gone. will i get in trouble if i call someone? i also don’t want my friends to get in trouble, how can i get rid of it?

If this is true, call the authorities NOW. The animal will be suffering terribly! You won’t get in trouble.
However you WILL get in trouble if you let it die or let it suffer…
Good luck!

All I can think of is to catch it and put it back where you all found it. I mean how did you get it in there? Call your friends and tell them to catch it and put it back where they found it or you are gonna call animal control on them. I do think you all will get in trouble if you call animal control or are reported.

Wait, sharks are typically not adapted to chlorinated pools and they are to my knowledge a salt water animal and being in fresh water may explain why he is moving slow ententually it will die. One he ceases to move call your idiot friends and have them remove the carcass. I personally, would call the authorities and let those morons explain themselves. Talk about a waste of an animal and no, I am not a PETA wacko, just don’t see the point in killing critters just for fun.

Personally, I wouldn’t need friends like these.
However, it seems as though an opportunity has presented itself to have a party.
You ever eat shark steak?

Eat it, as it will not survive much longer or in the wild because the chlorine would have destroyed its gills. They sell it under the name of flake in most fish shops, so cut it up and freeze some fillets.
If you dont eat it, it will be a terrible waste of an animals life.

call the people who put it in the pool. you have to get it back to the water before the chlorine in the pool kills it.
