What is the pole called that is used to remove an inground swimming pool’s cover?

pAgnAliA asked:

I have an in-ground swimming pool with a cover that has springs with a hoop that gets attached to a bolt that is anchored into the concrete surround. I know there is a tool used to pull the springed hoop onto the bolt…do you know what this tool is called?

It is a long pole, usually stainless steel???, with a ‘bit’ on the end…

Thank you!

Wei

Goggle the name of the manufacture of the cover.
The removal tool is available on line, for most cover makers.
No matter what you call it.
At LOOP-LOC it is called , Installation tool .
