The people who have worked on it should of installed some pressure gages so problems in circulation can be diagnosed and repaired.

Assuming no pipe blockages, your circulation should be fine if your pump and filter are OK. Our pool is 21 years old and we just replaced the de filter unit with a bigger capacity one, and replaced the pump 2 years ago. We run 18 psi at the filter when it is clean and charged.

Make sure they didn’t install the pump wires backward or it will blow instead of suck.

Chances are you may just need to back wash the filter. Our circulation slows down in ours when this needs done, the skimmer isn’t collecting much because the water circulation isn’t strong enough.
